In the heart of Cupertino lies a beautifully landscaped, 28-acre expanse containing many amenities, including six tennis courts and a softball field, all of which are lighted in the evening. A picnic area accommodating more than 100 people can be reserved, and many more picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

There is a large pond with a fountain, miniature waterfall and an island with an attractive gazebo built on it. The pond has many ducks and geese, but don’t feed them, and watch your step—they make a mess.

Scattered throughout the park is evidence of Cupertino’s sister city partnership with Toyokawa, Japan, including some Japanese toro lanterns. There are two playgrounds, wide grassy areas, lots of trees and a Walk of Remembrance inscribed with the names of local war veterans.
